Robert “Bob” Trujillo

Robert “Bob” Trujillo, 83, of Morganton, NC passed away on Sunday, August 29, 2021. He was born on August 22, 1938 in Tampa FL to the late Eufelino Trujillo and Mirta Mendez Trujillo. Bob was a veteran of the United States Marines. He traveled internationally as a lumber broker. He and his wife, Carlton enjoyed traveling and hiking.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister.

Bob is survived by his wife, Carlton Avery-Trujillo; children, Jeffrey Cortez, John Cortez, James Cortez, Joy Burgess, Joanna Gann, and Janet Livshits; 13 grandchildren; sister, Irma Lupo.

The family will receive friends from 10am until 11:30am, Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Sossoman Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at noon at Forest Hill Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the United States Marines.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
