Robert H. Justice

Robert H. Justice, 74, of Stephens Dr., Morganton, NC went home to be with his Heavenly Father on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at Grace Hospital. He was born January 6, 1934 in Burke County, and was a son of the late Dick Justice and Bonnie McCrary Justice. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, William and Ken Justice; and a sister, Cordeal Perry. Robert was a member of Southside Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon and former teacher of the men’s adult Sunday school class. He retired from Drexel-Heritage Furnishings with over 25 years of service. Robert was an avid bowler and had been a member of several leagues at Mimosa Lanes.He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Odene Mae LaFevers Justice of the home; sons, Randy D. Justice and wife, Patty, of Salem, and Keith Justice of the home; grandchildren, Derek Justice of Charlotte, NC, and Casey Justice of Salem; a sister, Pearl Lambert and husband, Curtis, of Morganton; and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 31, 2008 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Randy Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park with military graveside rites conducted by the Valdese American Legion Post #234. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. At other times, the family will be at the residence.
