Robert Lee Ray

Robert Lee Ray, 75, of Morganton, died October 23, 2010. Born on July 8, 1935, he was a son of the late Floyd William Ray and Ruth Elizabeth Styles Ray. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Lorena Moses. Robert was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.He is survived by a daughter, Carol Ann Ray, and siblings, Larry Ray, Nola Pritchard, Wilma Smith, and Thelma Brile.A celebration of Robert’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at the Covenant Center at J. Iverson Riddle Developmental Center with Chaplain Johnny Phillips officiating. The family will receive friends following the service. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday in Riverside Baptist Church Cemetery. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements.
