Robin Ford Carpenter

Robin Ford Carpenter, 63, of Morganton, NC went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Born on June 29, 1956, she was the daughter of Betty Ford and the late William Ford. Robin was attending Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and had attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. She retired from Broughton Hospital. Robin was a loving wife, mother, nanny and friend.

She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Dennis L. Carpenter; son, Jeremy Carpenter (Leslie); grandchildren, Tanner and Abigail Carpenter; mother, Betty Miller Ford; brother, Danny Ford (Cynthia); sisters, Audrey Ford, Ramona Beach (Darrin), Myra Sanders (Tony); and many nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.

The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m., Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. The memorial service will be held at 2p.m. in the church with the Revs. Steven Painter, Jonathan Puckett and Jack Hodges officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
