Rockey Eugene Baxter, 59, of Marion, NC passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2025. He was born on February 20, 1966 in McDowell County to the late Thomas Baxter and Neva Crisp Baxter. Rockey was a former member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Marion. He loved motorcycles and old model cars. He enjoyed attending PSR school. Rockey loved to go shopping and spending money.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Baxter.
He is survived by his sister, Karen Blankenship; niece, Ashley Stamey (Robert); nephew, Ryan Blankenship (Shana); great-nieces, Alyssa, Amber, Addison, and Aceland.
There will be no services at this time.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
