Rocklin "Duder" Pritchard, 2, of Morganton went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Thursday, July 14, 2011. Born November 18, 2008 in Catawba County, he is a son of Travis Anton Pritchard and Keely Nicole Derreberry Pritchard. He was a member of Nowlings Chapel Free Will Baptist Church. God called this tumbling dirtbike angel home early. Rocklin lived his 2½ years with more love and fun than most people do in a lifetime.In addition to his parents, Rocklin is survived by brothers, Daylin and Zaydin Pritchard, and a sister, Kaydin Pritchard, all of the home; grandparents, Mendell and Camille Derreberry, Jimmy and Cindy Pritchard, and Jean and Rex Chapman, all of Morganton; great-grandparents, Icey Derreberry, Harper and Rachel Harris, Max and Mildred Pritchard, all of Morganton, and Howard and Joyce Lowman of Lenoir; Aunts and Uncles, Minda and Mark Daniels, Tyler and Brittney Pritchard, Randy Derreberry, Sr., Bradley Chapman, David and Leslie Chapman, all of Morganton, Anita Harris and Carroll Mooneyham of Hickory, and Billy and Karen Hill of Kings Mountain, NC; cousins, Zakry Daniels, Maleah Pritchard, Addison Chapman, and Emma Chapman; and many other friends and extended family.The family would like to extend a special thanks to Tumblemania School of Gymnastics.Rocklin was preceded in death by great-grandfathers, Vincent Derreberry and Wayne Hill; and an uncle, Sam Chapman.A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 18, 2011 at Nowlings Chapel Free Will Baptist Church in the Roy Shehan Fellowship Center with Reverend Darvy Hensley officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Freedom High School.
