Ronald Dale Brewer

Ronald Dale Brewer, 72 of Morganton, NC passed away, Sunday, March 6, 2022. He was the son of the late Ronel and Louise Brewer. Dale was an avid golfer and bowler. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Dale was also veteran of the US Air Force and a retired employee of Foothills Correctional Institute.

Dale is survived by his wife, Mary Lu Burns Brewer; sons, Steven Brewer (Amy), Skyler Brewer (Katie); grandchildren, Wrenn, Brooke, and Gage Brewer; step-granddaughter, Becca Nightengale; sisters; Cathy Sellars, Karen Worley; aunt, Alice Fleenor.

In addition to his parents, Dale is preceded in death by his brothers; Larry Brewer, Johnny Brewer, David Brewer, and Wesley Brewer; sister, Martha Lewis.

There will be a graveside service at 3pm, Friday, March 11, 2022 at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens in Abingdon, VA.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amorem Hospice, 902 Kirkwood Street NW, Lenoir, NC 28645.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
