Ronald "Ronnie" Norville

Ronald “Ronnie” Norville, 66, of Morganton passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018.  Born in Burke County, NC on March 14, 1952, he was the son of the late T. C. Norville and Robert Mae Laughter Norville.  Mr. Norville was a member of Nowlings Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and loved his family very much.

Ronnie is survived by his sisters, Shirley Norville Freeman and JoAnne Cook (Howard); brothers, Roby Norville (Claire), Billie Norville (Linda), and James Norville (Carolyn); and a number of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald Norville; brothers, Paul, Ray, Ben, Crawford, George, and Dewey Silas Norville; sisters, Mary Lee Laughter, Addie Bea Yelton, Carrie Mae Tessner; and an infant brother and sister.

The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Sossoman Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, September 24 at Nowlings Chapel Freewill Baptist Church with the Revs. Randy Cook and Curtis Hargrove officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
