Ronnie Dean Butler

Ronnie Dean Butler, 54, of Morganton, North Carolina went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 6, 2016. Mr. Butler was born October 2, 1961 to the late Steirs Butler and Carolyn Smith Butler.
Mr. Butler was a devoted father and grandfather. Ronnie loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. He was a cut-up who loved to make everyone laugh.
Mr. Butler is survived by his daughter, Rhonda Haynes and husband, Nehemiah; grandson, Malachi Haynes; and granddaughter, Adaline Haynes. He is also survived by a niece; a nephew; and extended family members.
In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by a sister, Becky Earley and a brother, Randy Butler.
The family will receive friends, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 12:00 noon in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Pastor Steven Painter officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
