Ruby Fredell Hughes Falls

Ruby Fredell Hughes Falls, 63, of Glen Alpine died on Monday, January 11, 2016. Born in Cleveland County, NC on September 20, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Minnie Fredell and Minnie Chapman Fredell.
Ruby was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. After twenty-nine years of service, she retired from Broughton Hospital. Ruby was of the Baptist faith.
Ruby is survived by her children, Deana Carswell and David of Morganton, Dereama Webb and Jamey Holloway of Lenoir, Robert Hughes and Toni of Carter Co, TN, and Nevaeh Webb of Morganton; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; brothers, Frank, Coy, Dennis, and Delbert Fredell; sister, Deloris Chapmane; and the father of her children, Bobby Dean Hughes of Roan Mountain.
In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Falls; a granddaughter; step-father, Ray Anthony; and son-in-law, Kenny Webb.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Micah Piercy officiating. Burial will follow at Gibbs Chapel Wesleyan Church Cemetery.
