Rudelle McCurry Puett

Rudelle McCurry Puett, 80, of Morganton, NC died Saturday, May 28, 2011 at her residence. Born in Burke County, NC on June 11, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Manley McCurry and Ellen Roper Smith. In addition to her parents, Rudelle was preceded in death by her first husband, Oscar Propst, and her second husband, Howard Puett.Mrs. Puett is survived by her sons, Michael Propst of Morganton and Richard Puett and wife, Miki, of Matthews, NC; and a grandson, Michael C. Propst of Mroganton.A graveside service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at Burke Memorial Park with Rev. Kevin Crawford officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Praise Assembly of God Building Fund, 3925 Maloney Ave., Morganton, NC 28655 or to the American Heart Association, P.O. Box 5216, Glen Allen, VA 23058. Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
