Russell Leroy Speagle, 67, of Salisbury, NC, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022. Born in Burke County, NC on July 1, 1954, he was the son of the late Carl Speagle and Ellie Mull Speagle. Russell was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
A graveside service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, February 18, 2022 at Conley Road Pentecostal Holiness Church Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the NC National Guard and the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
