Ruth Williams Bryant

Ruth Williams Bryant, 97, of Morganton departed the worries and cares of this life on Monday, December 3, 2019 and entered into the arms of her Savior, Jesus.  Born on October 22, 1922, she was the daughter of the late Husten Williams and Effie B. Williams.  She was a member of Missionary Ridge Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, George Zack; and a  sister, Edith Whisenant.

Those left to cherish her memory include a daughter, Kathy Roseman (Chris); grandsons, Shane Gilleon (Nikki) and Rev. Chris Dale (Stephanie); great-grandchildren, Torry, Eric, Alexis, Ashley, Hailey, Parker, and Madelyn; special cousin, Joann Powell; and special friend, Geneva Wilson.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, December 6, 2019 at Sossoman Funeral Home.  The graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Forest Hill Cemetery with Rev. Chris Dale officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
