Sadie Baker Bordeaux, 78, of Morganton, NC died Friday, November 28, 2014. Born October 12, 1936 in Burke County, NC, she was a daughter of the late William Monroe Baker and Eula Beatrice Buff Baker. Sadie worked in Washington, DC in civil service.
She is survived by siblings, Claude Baker and wife, Catherine, Marie Rogers and husband, Stanley, Eula Shook, Kathy Edwards and husband, Lonnie, and Randall Baker and wife, Shelia, all of Morganton; former husband, William Travis Bordeaux; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2014 at Denton’s Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Brad Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
