Sarah Butler Cline

Sarah Butler Cline, 69, of Wall St., Morganton, NC died Monday, July 2, 2007 following a period of declining health. She was born in Burke County on December 30, 1937 and was a daughter of the late William Sanford Butler and Vadie Christine Huffman Butler. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelly Ray Cline; brothers, William Sanford Butler, Jr. and Stiers Butler, and by a sister, Marjorie Butler. Mrs. Cline was a member of Trinity Baptist Church.Surviving are a brother, Clyde Butler, of Morganton; sisters, Ann Guy, Gladys Butler, and Mildred Tweed all of Connelly Springs, and Jennie Ramsey and her husband, Larry, of Morganton; and a number of nieces and nephews.The funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5, 2007, in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Moneyham officiating. Entombment will follow at Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum. The family will receive friends one hour before the funeral.
