Scott A. Randolph

Scott A. Randolph, 56, of Morganton died Thursday, January 14, 2016. Born in Burke County, NC on April 6, 1959, he was the son of the late Stanley Randolph and Tassie M. Gwinn Poston.
Scott is survived by his wife, Donna Kay Arnette Randolph; children, Christopher, Chelsey, and Brandon Randolph, all of Morganton; grandchildren, Anthony Gage Randolph and Daisy Randolph; and siblings, Judy Weatherholtz of Valdese, NC, Benny Randolph of Valdese, Carol Whisenant of Glen Alpine, NC, and Mildred McCall and her husband, Vernon, of Morganton.
In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by his step-father, Charles Poston; a sister, Zula Whisenant; and a brother, Steve Randolph.
The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m., Monday, January 18, 2016 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Terry Roberson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery.
