Scott Rogers

Scott Rogers, 49, of Lake Charles St., Morganton, died Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Scott was born March 28, 1960 in Buncombe County to "Buster" and Judy Rogers of Asheville, NC.In addition to his parents Scott is survived by his companion, Ruth Ann Epley of the home; daughter, Sheena Rogers Gosnell of Asheville: brothers, Brian, Mark and Dan Rogers; 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; step-children, Randy Crain of Morganton, Chris Crain of Anor, SC, and Nancy Piercy of Morganton; and a special friend, Greg Allen of MorgantonScott was preceded in death by a step-daughter, Phala Crain Ballard.A funeral service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, October 5, 2009 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Rev. J.C. Bradley officiating. The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. prior to the service.
