Scott Wall

Scott Wall, 58, of Hillcrest Street, Morganton, NC, died Saturday, March 11, 2006 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC following a period of declining health. Born in Luzerne County, PA, on May 13, 1947, he was a son of the late Donald Scott Wall, Sr. and Gertrude Evans Stephens. Scott attended El Bethel Baptist Church. He was a retired hospital administrator at Cannon Memorial Hospital and Carolinas Medical Center. He was a former member and past president of the Oak Hill Ruritan Club.

Scott is survived by his wife, Rita S. Wall of the home; two sons, Darren Wall and Jason Wall, both of Morganton; a brother, Ron Wall of Columbia, SC; and a niece and nephew, Susan and Len.

The funeral will be held at 3:30 p.m., Thursday, March 16, 2006 at El Bethel Baptist Church with Reverends Ron Cooper and David Bean officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 15th, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. where the body will remain until placed in the church thirty minutes prior to the funeral hour. At other times the family will be at the residence, 100 Hillcrest Street, Morganton.
