Sebon Norman “Buddy” Patrum

Sebon Norman “Buddy” Patrum, 81, of Morganton, NC, passed away, Friday October 16, 2020. Born in Wilkes County on September 26, 1939, he was the son of the late Hanner and Bessie Patrum. Buddy was a member of North Laurel Baptist Church. He retired from Lowes Hardware as a District Manager after 22 years of service. Known as “Bubbie” to his family, he loved woodworking, building things, antique cars, and camping.

Buddy is survived by his wife, Lena Patrum; children, Tracy Patrum (Michelle), Jennifer Roy (Kenny), Josh Patrum (Tessa); sister, Wanda Tsangarides; sister-in-law, Diane Patrum; 7 grandchildren; 3 step-children; 4 step-grandchildren; and 5 step-greatgrandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Buddy is preceded in death by his brother, Jimmy Patrum; brother-in-law, Archie Tsangarides.

The family will receive friends from noon until 1pm, Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral services will be held at 1pm in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with the Rev. Mike Wakefield officiating. Burial will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
