Selma Lingafeldt McCall

Selma Lingafeldt McCall, 90, of the Cambridge House in Hildebran, NC died Wednesday, July 10, 2013. Born in Burke County, NC on May 22, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Ellis Richard Lingafeldt and Clora Selma Fincannon Lingfeldt. Selma was a member of Catawba Valley Baptist Church and enjoyed crocheting and watching Braves baseball.Selma is survived by her sons, Bobby McCall and his wife, Ann, of Hickory, NC, Marshall McCall and his wife, Susan, of Morganton, NC, and Harvey McCall and his wife, Charlene, of Glen Alpine, NC; grandchildren, Robbie McCall, Brian McCall, Angie Webb, Andy McCall, Shannon McCall, Brandon McCall, and Hunter McCall; seven great-grandchildren; and a brother, Junior Lingafeldt.In addition to her parents, Selma was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Robert McCall; seven brothers; and four sisters.The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 12, 2013 at Catawba Valley Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Odom and Rev. Clyde Buckner officiating. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service.Memorial contributions may be made to Catawba Valley Baptist Church, P.O.
