Sharlotte Lee Campbell, 90 of Morganton, NC passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020. Born on July 7, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Washington Emmons and Gladys Jenkins. Sharlotte was a member of Celebration Family Worship Center. She loved flowers, singing, and especially loved the Lord. Sharlotte’s favorite scripture was the 23rd Psalms.
Sharlotte is survived by her daughter, Cynthia Caldwell; grandson, Christopher Caldwell (Carla) of San Diego, CA; great-granddaughter, Cayla Caldwell of Morganton, NC; great-grandson, Nasir Caldwell of Morganton, NC; sister, Jean Harris of Morganton, NC; brother, Washington Emmons (Terri) of Milwaukee, WI; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Sharlotte is preceded in death by her son, Andrew Lee Campbell, Jr.; brothers, George Emmons, John Emmons; ex-husband, Andrew Campbell, Sr.
The family will have a private family graveside at Burke Memorial Park with the Rev. Rocky McLendon officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
