Sharron H. Wilson, 75, of Valdese passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 21, 2019. Born in Burke County, NC on October 10, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Clyde E. Huffman and Ruth Powell Huffman. Sharron had attended United Baptist Church. She had a very strong Christian faith and was a prayer warrior. She loved her animals, Chloe, Maggie, and Cali.
Sharron is survived by her daughters, Danna R. Wilson of Cary, NC and Meghan Wilson of Morganton; brother, Stephen Huffman of Valdese; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Sharron was preceded in death by her husband, Danny Ray Wilson.
A private family cryptside service will be held at Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum.
As Sharron was a breast cancer survivor, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
