Shirley Webb Roberson

Shirley Webb Roberson, 69, of Lake Wylie, SC, formerly of Morganton, NC died Wednesday, October 15, 2014.  Born in Burke County, NC on February 15, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Jack Alvin Webb and Lura Mull Webb.  Shirley was a former member of Mt. Home Baptist Church.  She spent her entire life caring for other people and was always “on the sunnyside.”

Shirley is survived by her son, Marshall C. “Marty” Roberson, II of Lake Wylie; a daughter, Tamara Hartman and her husband, Shane, of Clover, SC; a grandson, William Lee Woods; a brother, Paul Webb and his wife, Phyllis, of Glen Alpine, NC; a father-in-law, Fred Roberson of Morganton; a brother-in-law, Jerry Pearson of Morganton; and sisters-in-law, Kathy Roberson of Tucson, AZ and Nancy Webb of Morganton.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Marshall Conrad Roberson; siblings, Jackie Pearson and Alvin Webb; and a mother-in-law, Mary Ella Roberson.

The memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October 18, 2014 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with the Rev. Jerry Gamble officiating.
