Shoner "Kyle" Johnson

Shoner "Kyle" Johnson, III, 46, of Razors Ridge Rd., Morganton, NC died Tuesday, December 25, 2007 at Grace Hospital following a brief illness. He was born November 26, 1961 in Avery County, NC, and was a son of Shoner Kyle Johnson, II, and Mary Burleson Johnson of Morganton. Kyle attended the Morganton Freedom Church of God, and was the owner of Johnson’s Nursery. He was an avid outdoorsman, and loved hunting, fishing, camping, and farming. Kyle loved to spend time with his family. He always had a kind word, and a big heart.In addition to his parents, he is survived by sisters, Tammy Kestner and Bonita Beck, both of Morganton; his paternal grandmother, Hope Johnson of Newland, NC; and numerous nieces and nephews that Kyle loved as his own.He was preceded in death by a brother, Floyd Johnson; and his paternal grandfather, Shoner Kyle Johhnson, IFuneral services will be held at 12 Noon, Saturday, December 29, 2007 at the Morganton Freedom Church of God with Rev. Todd Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery in Newland, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10 am until 12 noon at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family of Kyle Johnson, 1281 Razors Ridge Rd., Morganton, NC 28655 to assist with funeral expenses. Sossoman Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
