Stephanie Keller, age 36, of Glen Alpine, NC passed away peacefully with her family by her side on July 3, 2019 after a lengthy battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Stephanie was born on August 17, 1982 to Steve and Norma (Wilson) Keller.
Stephanie had a passion for life with a positive outlook and invariably had a funny story to tell. She was proud of her town of Glen Alpine and dreamed of one day becoming Ms. Turkey Tail. Even with the diagnosis of Type II Progressive MS at age 24, Stephanie remained positive and never complained about her life.
Stephanie is survived by her partner and fiancé, James Hayden; her parents, Steve and Norma Keller; sisters Elizabeth Keller and Jill (Brian) Walker; nieces Reagan and Kaydence; nephew Wilson; and beloved dog, Hugo.
Stephanie loved music, camping, golfing, swimming, and anything to do with the outdoors. She will be remembered for her infectious smile, quick wit, and telling you exactly what she thought. Stephanie was always up for an adventure from meeting Maury Povich, parasailing in the Outer Banks, and seeing her childhood hero, Pee Wee Herman on stage.
Stephanie requested that there be no services in her honor and to be cremated and, in true Stephanie fashion, to have her remains turned into a diamond.
In lieu of flowers please send any donations in her honor to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care at 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, NC 28690.
