Susan Willis Watts, 68, of Hickory, NC passed away, Friday, June 21, 2024. Born on June 1, 1956, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Willis and Rachel Willis. Susan was a member of Wilkies Grove Baptist Church. She loved her children and family very much as well as her church. Susan enjoyed baking.
Susan is survived by her sons, Doug Davis (Tonya), Christopher Davis (Lisa); grandchildren, Sydney, Emily, Courtney Davis; brother, John William Willis; sister, Linda Elmore; and a number of nieces and nephews whom she adored.
In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Watts; sister, Dorothy Reid.
The family will receive friends from 1pm until 2pm, Monday, June 24, 2024 at Wilkies Grove Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held in the church at 2pm. Burial will follow at Brookford City Cemetery in Hickory, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wilkies Grove Baptist Church.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
