Visitation
Tathiana Montagna Whisnant, 94, of Hickory, NC passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018. Born November 18, 1923 in Vicenza, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Adriano Montagna and Jole Pegoraro Montagna. She attended St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of forty-five years, John Frederick Whisnant; and her siblings.
Thathiana is survived by her children, Veronica Susan Tilley and husband, Jim and James F. Whisnant and wife, Pat; grandson, Alex Tilley; and nephews and nieces.
The funeral Mass will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 at 11 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Rev. Kenneth Whittington officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Espicopal Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, 1721 Enon Road, Valdese, NC 28690.
