Teddy Dean Hensley

Teddy Dean Hensley, 65, of Morganton, NC, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2017. Teddy was born October 5, 1951 in Burke County to the late John Albert Hensley and Frankie Juanita Rose Hensley Eperson.
Teddy was a veteran of the North Carolina National Guard and a member of Zion Baptist Church. He retired from Burke County EMS as training officer. Teddy loved his grandchildren and had a passion for hunting and fishing.
Teddy is survived by his wife, Pam Sain Hensley of the home; sons, Chad Hensley and wife, Amy and Chris Hensley and wife, Becky all of Morganton; and seven grandchildren. He is also survived by brother, Ernie Hensley and wife, Gerri of Morganton and half-sister, Debra Whisnant of Morganton.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon until 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The cryptside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Keith Rose officiating. Military honors will be provided by the NC National Guard and Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.
