Teresa Louise Cooper

Teresa Louise Cooper, 42, of Morganton, NC, passed away on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Born in Burke County, NC on January 21, 1980, she was the daughter of Thomas June Cooper, Jr. and Elizabeth Rebecca Lovelace Cooper.  Teresa was a member of Grace Baptist Church.  She was an inspiration to many and her bright smile will always be remembered.

In addition to her parents, those left to cherish her memory include a brother, Danny Cooper; sisters, Laura Hudson and Cindy Stogner; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; and her very special fur-baby, Spike Lee Cooper.

Teresa was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Thomas June Cooper, Sr. and Fairy Winters Cooper; and maternal grandparents, Bly and Rebecca Lovelace.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home.  The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Marty Bess officiating.  Burial will follow at Mt. Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
