Teresa “Terri” Dallas, 68, of Morganton, NC and formerly of Rock Hill, SC passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. She was born on July 20, 1955 in Columbia, SC to the late Clarence Carter and Christina Yarborough Carter. She moved from Rock Hill, SC to Morganton, NC in 2013. She worked at Comporium in Rock Hill and owned and operated D & R Sandblasting. Terri loved to cook and loved riding motorcycles. The grands were the love of her life and enjoyed taking care of them.
Terri is preceded in death by her father, Richard Carter and mother Christina “Teena” Carter.
Terri is survived by her son, Tommy Navey (Tracy); great-grandchildren, Joanna and Grace; brothers, Rick Carter, Mike Carter, Gene Carter, and Dean Carter; sister, Carolyn Allman; aunts, Peggy Schnell and Sylvia Ellisor, both of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
