Committal
Terry Fowler, 57, of Morganton, NC passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023. He was born on May 21, 1966 in Burke County to the late James Herman Fowler and Margaret Lawson Fowler. Terry liked to participate in shooting competitions and also enjoyed fishing, racing, and cooking. He loved being around his family and friends. He also loved his canine companions, Baby and MJ.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Lolita Fowler; grandfather, James Grady.
Terry is survived by his daughter, Ashley Fowler Keller (Dusty); grandson, Hunter Keller; brother, Scott Fowler.
The family will receive friends from 3-4pm on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. The funeral service will begin at 4pm in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

Condolences and prayers to Terry’s family and friends. I met Terry in 2009 while working construction. I’d moved to Morganton from Michigan for work so I didn’t know anybody but in the months we worked together Terry welcomed me into his home, shared many great stories and life lessons about marriage, racing, Detroit, etc. with the younger me and I appreciated him greatly for his kindness and insights. I’m so sorry to hear this. We were neighbors since December 2021. He welcomed Renee and I right away and we developed a great friendship. The Fish Fry was amazing. We’re going to miss him very much Steve and Renee DellaSala

Even though we divorced. I'm glad we were able to become friends and the last time we talked I will always cherish. God gained another angel. Thank you for being there for me when mama passed in January this year. Give her a big hug for me when you see her in heaven. You will be forever missed. Love always
