Terry Raymond Rhom

Terry Raymond Rhom, 64, of Morganton went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 15, 2019.  Born in McDowell County, NC on May 12, 1955, he was the son of the late Wallace Raymond Rhom and Barbara Melton Gallion.  Terry was a member of Vein Mountain Baptist Church.  He was a beloved brother, uncle, and good friend to many.

Mr. Rhom is survived by his brother, Timothy Rhom; sisters, Karen Rhom Sisk (Vance), Theresa Rhom, and Brigitte Rhom Hutchins (David); niece, Patty Rhom Wesley; nephews, Quentin Mons, Sheldon Sisk, and Nicholas Robinson; and his beloved canine companion, Buddy.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2 p.m., Sunday, August 18, 2019 at Vein Mountain Baptist Church.  The graveside service will follow at 2 p.m. in the church cemetery with Rev. Barry Gouge officiating.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
