Terry Shorthouse

Terry Shorthouse, 75, of Morganton, died Wednesday, December 11, 2013. He was born on May 4, 1938 in Niles, Ohio to the late James A. Shorthouse and Virginia Reany Shorthouse. He worked as a sales representative in the shoe industry and was a veteran of the United States Marines.He is survived by his wife, Anith C. Shorthouse; sons, Darren Shorthouse, Brian Shorthouse, Rick and Antonietta Shorthouse, all of Morganton; grandchildren, Cazzie, Jacob, LeAnne and Hannah Shorthouse; great-grandchildren Madison, Emily, Emma, and Isabell; brothers, Richard Shorthouse and wife, Roberta and Timothy Shorthouse and wife, Faith, all of Florida; sister-in-law, Nina Miller of Morganton.A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 16, 2013 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care, 1721 Enon Rd, Valdese, NC 28690.
