Thomas L. Dale

Thomas L. Dale, 64, of Morganton, NC died Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Grace Hospital. Born in Catawba County, NC on March 13, 1947, he was the son of the late Thomas Roscoe Dale and Onie Lee Keever Dale. Tom enjoyed racing on the dirt track. He was a loving and caring friend; he would always tell you what was on his mind.Tom is survived by his girlfriend of eleven years, Vickie Woolridge of Morganton; children, Travis Dale and wife, Heather, of Jonas Ridge, NC, Chad Dale and wife, Elaine, of Morganton, NC, and Maria Reep and husband, Billy, of Morganton, NC; six grandchildren, Claire Dale, Erica Dale, Aidan Dale, Allie Dale, April Dale, and Zeke Reep; six sisters; and his canine companions, Sammy and Samantha.In addition to his parents, Thomas was preceded in death by one brother, Clifford Dale.The family will receive friends Friday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 24, 2011 at Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Dennis Carswell officiating. At other times the family will be at the residence and the daughter?s home.
