Timothy Dean Cook, 45 of Hickory, NC and of Michigan, died unexpectedly on Monday, November 12, 2012 in Michigan. Born November 10, 1967 in Oakland County, MI, he was a son of Priscilla Dowlan Cook of Florida and the late, Paul Dean Cook. He was owner and operator of SunShade Window Tinting, Troy, MI and of Chesterfield Family Restaurant, Morganton, NC. Timothy was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, and he enjoyed traveling and vacations. He recently enjoyed spending time on his new boat. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Paul and Junie Cook; maternal grandparents, Charles and Betty Dowlan; a brother, Andrew Dean Cook; an aunt, Rachel McNeely; and an uncle, Ronnie Cook.Surviving in addition to his mother are his children, Tim Cook, Jr. and his wife, Natalie of Conover, NC, Michael Dean Cook of Hickory, and Casandra Lynn Cook, a student at UNC-Charlotte; a granddaughter to be born in December, Paisley Noel Cook; brothers, Paul Dean Cook, Jr. and Jimmy Cook both of Michigan, and Christopher Cook of Texas; sisters, Terry Saber and Sherry Erreghaoui both of Michigan; and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.A memorial service to celebrate Timothy’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, November 17, 2012 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with the Rev.
