Tina Lynn Whiteman, 55 of Hickory, NC passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019. Born on February 16, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Claude Hedrick and Virginia Hedrick. Tina was a kind hearted person who never met a stranger. She enjoyed traveling and participating in family gatherings. Tina was a loving mother to her emotional support animal, “Sophia.” She also loved butterflies.
Tina is survived by her boyfriend, Exie Parker, Sr.; sisters, Shelby Kaczor of Kings Mountain, NC, Janice Sulivan, of Vale, NC, Jenny Sigmon, of Hildebran, NC; brothers, Dennis Hedrick, of Conover, NC, Roger Hedrick, of Kings Mountain, NC, Jimmy Hedrick, of Bethlehem, NC, and a number of nieces, nephews, and extended family.
In addition to her parents, Tina is preceded in death by her sister, Helen Honeycutt; brother, Billy Claude Hedrick; and an infant child.
The memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2020 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Crawford officiating.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
