Tony Edward Messer, 66, of Taylorsville, NC died Tuesday, March 3, 2015. Born in Haywood County, NC on July 19, 1948, he was the son of the late James Messer and Wilma Hyatt Messer. In addition to his parents, Tony was preceded in death a sister, Myra Messer. Tony enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, and loved to create art. He never met a stranger.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 6, 2015 at Friendship Lutheran Church Cemetery with the Rev. Carol Yeager officiating. Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting.
