Torry Lane Mullins

Torry Lane Mullins, 46 of Morganton, NC and formerly of Dorton, KY went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Burke Hospice and Palliative Care following complications of a massive stroke. Born in Kenton County, KY on November 16, 1969, he was the son of the late Charlie Bill Mullins and JoAnn Short Mullins Bridgeman.
Torry was an avid Nascar fan and a fan of Kentucky Wildcats basketball. He loved going to the beach and spending time with his family. Torry was a self-employed contractor who enjoyed working with his hands.
In addition to his father, Torry was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Lane Mullins.
Torry is survived by his wife, Pattie Beck Mullins; sons, Frank Fields and Torry “Joe” Baldridge; step-sons, Patrick Harlow and wife, Beverly and Scott Harlow; step-daughter, Victoria Mackenzie Fields; and granddaughter, Athena Harlow. He is also survived by brothers, Chadwick Mullins and Jonathan Akers; nephew, Phillip Akers; and a host of extended family in Kentucky.
The family will receive friends from 3:30 – 5:00p.m., Saturday, April 30, 2016 at Sossoman Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
