Vanessa Marie Purdy, 21 of Rhoney Rd., Connelly Springs, NC died Saturday, October 28, 2006 as a result of injuries received in an auto accident. Born in Forest Lake, MN on October 28, 1985, she was a daughter of Debora Ann Purdy and Tom Gohl of Connelly Springs.
In addition to her parents Vanessa is survived by a son, Trevor H. Purdy; a daughter, Trinity R. Strohmyer; sisters, Cortney Marshall of Circle Pines, MN and Jessica Gohl of the home; maternal grandparents, Jane Purdy and John Bodeker of Morganton; and the paternal grandfather, Roger G. Gohl of Minnesota.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2006 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with the Rev. Kenneth Whittington officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home following the service. At other times the family will be at the residence, 5528 Rhoney Rd.
