Vernon Eugene Dale

Vernon Eugene Dale 46, of Morganton, NC passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017. He was born October 26, 1971 in Burke County, NC and was the son of the late Glenn Robert Dale and Carrie Mae Cox Dale. Vernon was a loving father and brother. Anyone that truly knew Vernon knew he had a kind heart and would go out of his way to help anyone.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, William Treadway.
Vernon is survived by brother, Jerome Dale; children, Trevor Dale, Abigail Dale, and Isaac Dale; and Tabitha Smith, the mother of Abigail and Isaac all of Morganton.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 6:00 p.m., Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Stacy Buff and Eric Duckworth officiating.
