Victor Emil Fisher

Victor Emil Fisher, 71 of Hickory, NC passed away Sunday, June 09, 2019.  Born May 6, 1948 in Burke County, NC he was a son of the late Robert Allison Fisher and Pansy Mae Hudson Fisher.

Mr. Fisher was a devoted father and grandfather that loved his family dearly.  He worked for years as a truck driver for McCreary Modern.  Some of his hobbies included shagging and watching major league baseball.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Roberta Baber, Lucille Fisher, Johnnie Lee Summerlin, Oleta Leonhardt, Joy Browning, and Patsy Compton.

Mr. Fisher is survived by his daughters, Shannon Galle (Tom) and Tonya Martin; grandchildren, Kyle Pulver, Noah Martin, and Jenna Martin; brothers, Roger Fisher and Robert Fisher (Dot); and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The family will receive friends from 6 – 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 19 at Sossoman Funeral Home.  The memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home.
