Viola Suttles Mull, 81, of Franklin, NC, formerly of Morganton died Tuesday, November 24, 2015. Born in Roxboro, NC on July 29, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Blanche Suttles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Fulton Mull; and an aunt, Nonie Mae Ross.
Viola lived in Morganton for over 40 years and attended Mt. Home Baptist Church. After her retirement she lived in Etowah, NC; Deland, FL, and Franklin, NC.
Mrs. Mull is survived by her son, William F. “Freddie” Mull and his fiancée, Pamela, of Keystone Heights, FL; brothers, Bobby Gene Suttles and his wife, Mary, of Morganton and Coy Suttle and his wife, Lib,of Austin, NC; and nine wonderful nephews and nieces in Morganton.
The family will receive friends from 2 – 3 p.m., Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. The funeral will be held in the Colonial Chapel of funeral home at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Jerry Gamble officiating. Entombment will follow in Burke Memorial Park Mausoleum.
