Virginia “Ginny” Goswick

Virginia “Ginny” Goswick, 72, of Morganton went to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 after several years of declining health.  Born in Connellsville, PA on February 19, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Roy Goswick and Beulah Pirl Goswick.  She moved to Morganton 26 years ago.  Ginny worked for Kimble Glass in New Jersey and then retired from Drexel Heritage.  She loved to travel, especially stopping at casinos along the way.  She enjoyed watching her humming birds and spending time with her dog, Patches.

Ginny is survived by her husband of over 30 years, Edward Bove of the home; children, Annette Rivera-Goswick and husband, Israel, of New Jersey, Mary Bell and husband, Donald, of Morganton, and James Ballard; grandchildren, Christina, Denise, Annie, Melanie, Nicholas, Christopher, Steven, and Brian; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Patricia Goswick of New Jersey.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.  A funeral service and burial will be held in Pennsylvania at a later date.
