Vivian C. Hollingsworth

Vivian C. Hollingsworth, 82, of Drexel, NC passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Autumn Care following a period of declining health. Born in Queens County, NY on November 24, 1929, she was the daughter of the late George Fielder and Mary Kalwis Fielder. Vivian was of the Catholic Faith. She retired from New York State Hospital and was loved by all who knew her.A beloved mother and grandmother, Vivian is survived by her children, Kathy Brown and husband, Stephen, of Winchester, KY, James Huber and wife, Deborah, of Summerville, SC, and Mary Carey of Morganton; step-children, David Hollingsworth of Roseboro, NC and Ann Baldanza of Morganton; grandchildren, Brian Jay Hogan, Jimmy Huber, Brian Huber, Sean Huber, Matthew Leopin, Eric Leopin, and Lance Leopin; and eighteen great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Hollis Hollingsworth.The funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with Father Kenneth Whittington officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center.
