Vivian Miller Suttles

Vivian Miller Suttles, 64, of Morganton died unexpectedly, Thursday, October 6, 2011 at her residence. Born April 25, 1947 in Prince George County, MD, she was a daughter of Robert Miller and his wife, Betty Dejarney, of Nevada. Vivian was a former employee of several local nursing homes.In addition to her father, she is survived by her husband, Robin Suttles of the home; sons, Richard I. Thomas and Robert J. Thomas, both of Shalimar, FL; daughters, Edith E. Lindberg and Christine D. Heywood, both of Morganton; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a sister, Gail Skaggs of Harpers Ferry, WV.A celebration of Vivian?s life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 9, 2011 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center with Rev. Dr. Burt Wilbur officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour before the service.
