Vivian "Susie" Hildebran Cook

Vivian “Susie” Hildebran Cook, 66, of Morganton, NC went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 15, 2022.

Born June 9, 1956 in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Conley Hildebran and Loretta Lail Hildebran. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Hildebran.

Mrs. Cook was a devoted wife and mother that loved her family. She was a member of Walker’s Chapel Baptist Church and was involved in producing the church newsletter. In her free time, she liked to crochet, but most of all she enjoyed taking care of other people in their time of need.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of forty-eight years, David Alvin Cook; daughter, Katie Cook; nephew, Jason Hildebran; and her K-9 buddy, “Little Bear.”

The graveside service will be held 3:00pm, Monday, July 18, 2022 at Walker’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Danny McNeilly and Rev. Steve Parker officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expense.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
