Wanda Nesbitt

Wanda Nesbitt, 63, of Connelly Springs, went to her Heavenly home on Saturday, February 23, 2019. She was born on June 22, 1955 in Roberson County to the late W.V. Horne and Ruth Phillips Horne. She was a member of Gloryland Baptist Church. Wanda worked at several local textile companies and also worked in home health care. She was a homemaker who loved being outside working with her flowers and playing with her animals. She also loved camping and fishing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Kathy Horne.

She is survived by her significant other, Charles Church, of the home; daughter, Katrina Pittman (Jason Weathers) of Forest City; grandchildren, Jayla and Lucas Pittman; brother, Patrick Horne of Connelly Springs; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, Monday, February 25, 2019 at Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center. A graveside service will be at 3:00pm, Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at New Hollywood Cemetery in Lumberton, NC.

Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.
