Wendy Mae Stamey Spevack, 51, of Valdese, NC, passed away Saturday, May 21, 2022.
Born in Catawba County, NC on April 23, 1971, she was the daughter of Bob Stamey and Vickie Linda Presnell Stamey. Wendy enjoyed cooking, gardening, crotcheting, and quilting. She was a sincere woman who never sugar-coated anything and always got right to the point. She loved her family and her pets.
Wendy is survived by her husband, Joel J. Spevack; sons, Mark and Aaron Spevack; parents; and brother, Bobby Stamey, Jr.
Wendy was preceded in death by her brother, Shawn Stamey.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2022 at Sossoman Funeral Home. The funeral will be held at 3 p.m. in the Colonial Chapel of the funeral home. Burial will follow in Burke Memorial Park.
Sossoman Funeral Home and Crematory Center is assisting the family with the arrangements.

I was saddened to hear of Wendy's passing. I remember the good times we had at an estate sale and also talking about our flowers.
