William E. Aldridge

William E. Aldridge, 44, of Morganton, NC died Thursday, August 18, 2011 after several years of declining health. Born in Burke County, NC on January 11, 1967, he was the son of Barbara J. Hurt Aldridge of Morganton and the late Bill E. Aldridge. William loved the Lord and outdoors, and he was an avid gun and knife collector.In addition to his mother, William is survived by his wife, Cindy Cook Aldridge of the home; a son, Joshua Hennessee and special friend, Jennifer Crisp, of Morganton; grandchildren, Meagen Hennessee and Briar Hunter Hennessee; a step-grandson, Kevin Crisp; a brother, Stephen Aldridge of Morganton; and two special nieces, Cheyenne Aldridge and Melissa Aldridge.The funeral will be held at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, August 21, 2011 in the Colonial Chapel of Sossoman Funeral Home with Reverends Joshua Hennessee and Jackie Price officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View #1 Baptist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sossoman Funeral Home, P.O. Box 2608, Morganton, NC 28680 to help with family expenses.
