I had the pleasure of knowing Bob since 2011. We both were members of the Marine Corp League #1197 Morganton, NC I always loved listening to Bob tell his stories to me and was eager each month to see what history he provided as the Historian of the detachment. He did love outside and often spoke to me on the wildlife where he lived. I miss him and was very saddened to hear of his passing recently. God Speed
